Item Coversheet Page 1 of 1 <br /> Police Department <br /> DATE: 10/9/2017 <br /> MEMO: 17-67 <br /> TO: The Honorable,Mayor Julie Moore Wolf <br /> Council Members <br /> FROM: Timothy A.Gleason,City Manager <br /> James E.Getz Jr.,Chief of Police <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> The purpose of this memorandum is to request authorization to enter into an Agency Access Agreement with the Central Illinois <br /> Regional Dispatch Center(CIRDC)and Superion,LLC. <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It would be the recommendation of staff that the City of Decatur enter into an agency <br /> access agreement with the CIRDC and Superion,LLC. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The City of Decatur purchased dispatch and records management software from SunGard Public Sector Inc.in October 2011. <br /> SunGard Public Sector Inc.was acquired by,and is currently operated by,Superion LLC. The maintenance agreement for this <br /> software is renewed each year. The last renewal period was approved on June 5,2017 for the commencement date of June 1,2017 <br /> and expiring on May 31,2018.
