AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> This AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT is entered into this 18th day <br /> of December, 2017, by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois ("City"), a municipal <br /> corporation, and Timothy Gleason ("Employee"). <br /> WHEREAS,the parties hereto previously entered into and executed an EMPLOYMENT <br /> AGREEMENT, dated March 16, 2015,which AGREEMENT the parties now wish to amend as <br /> set forth herein; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT shall remain fully enforceable and <br /> effective, as written, except as to matters expressly amended or modified as set forth herein. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants, warranties and <br /> agreements contained herein,the parties hereto do hereby covenant and agree as follows: <br /> Section 1. The EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT previously executed as aforesaid <br /> ("AGREEMENT") shall remain in full force and effect, as written, except as may be modified <br /> or amended as expressly set forth herein. <br /> Section 2. Section A., 1., of the AGREEMENT, Compensation and Benefit Policy, shall <br /> be amended and modified at the first paragraph thereof such that said first paragraph, as so <br /> amended and modified shall provide that said Employee at a minimum, and not withstanding <br /> any other bonus or pay changes,the Employee shall be entitled to the same percentage pay <br /> increase or decrease given to non-represented management employees as a group annually <br /> without any further action required by Council. <br /> Section 3.
