ORDINANCE NO. 2017- 56 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AND CIVIL CITY SERVICE OPERATIONS IN THE <br /> FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31,2017 <br /> WHEREAS, on February 21, 2017, City Council passed the Annual Appropriation <br /> Ordinance 2017-10 for the purpose of defraying the expenses of several departments and funds of <br /> the City of Decatur for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2017 and ending December 31, 2017. <br /> WHEREAS, it is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for operational <br /> expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its citizens which were not <br /> anticipated at the time the City Council adopted Ordinance 2017-10. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year ending <br /> December 31, 2017 and set apart within the following designated funds for expenditures as <br /> follows: <br /> Fund $ Amount <br /> Olde Towne TIF (#19) 1,500 <br /> Wabash Crossing TIF (#21) 44,000 <br /> DUATS (#22) 10,000 <br /> Municipal Band (#36) 6,500 <br /> Risk Management(#64) 1,000,000 <br /> Mass Transit(#70) 25,000 <br /> Water(#80) 1,500,000 <br /> Community Revitalization (#84) 300,000 <br /> Police Pension(#91) 500,000 <br /> Total 3,387,000 <br /> SECTION 2.
