Multiplying this performance factor by the bid price submitted by each PAC vendor provided the ability <br /> to compare equivalent removal costs. The PAC product Aqua Nuchar from Ingevity Corporation was <br /> determined to be able to remove 60%of the Geosmin at the lowest cost. <br /> The low bidders meeting specifications have provided the City with the necessary bonding, NSF and <br /> AWWA certifications required for their chemicals. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: The Water Production Division of the Public Works Department <br /> requested the chemicals and wrote the bid specifications.
