The breakdown of the 2018 invoice is as follows: <br /> Decatur Police Department--$1,580,929.40 <br /> Decatur Fire Department--$291,342.96 <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> On June 5,2017,under Resolution 2017-76,the Council approved the City of Decatur entering into an Intergovernmental <br /> Agreement with the Central Illinois Regional Dispatch Center(CIRDC). The CIRDC,beginning on January 1,2018,will provide <br /> dispatch services to the City of Decatur,Decatur Police Department,and the Decatur Fire Department. The user fees for the <br /> CIRDC are based on calls for service for each user agency throughout Macon County.
