The recommended amount is$38,360 from the City of Decatur's Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)fund <br /> as provided by the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development. The agreement expires on February 16,2019. Activities <br /> include but are not limited to: recruitment/outreach,job and life skills training,horticulture education,program materials,and <br /> more. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The Neighborhood Services Division prepared a Request for Proposal(RFP). Five(5)agencies responded. All were evaluated <br /> and scored by City staff and funding was recommended for two(2)of the agencies.
