FY 2018 RECIPIENT AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered this 19th day of March 2018 by and between the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois (herein called the "City") and the Coalition of Neighborhood Organizations (CONO) <br /> (herein called the 'Recipient"). <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage the Recipient to assist the City in utilizing such funds in <br /> accordance with City, State and Federal guidelines and regulations; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed between the parties hereto that; <br /> I. STATEMENT OF WORK: <br /> A. Activities: <br /> The Recipient will be responsible for administering activities for the FY2018 program <br /> year in a manner satisfactory to the City and consistent with any standards required as <br /> a condition of providing these funds. Such programs will include the following eligible <br /> activities: <br /> Activity#1 <br /> Increase participation and recruitment efforts which will include hosting monthly <br /> organizational meetings of neighborhood organizations to promote, develop and assist <br /> neighborhood groups with activities, and continue CONO activities and initiatives; <br /> Goal: 3 neighborhood grants. <br /> Activity#2 <br /> Partner with faith-based organizations and other nonprofits, including the local school <br /> district to provide educational training in arts, home maintenance and beautification. <br /> Youth and adults will participate in classes that teach pottery and life skills for homes <br /> and horticulture. Goal: 75+youth and 75+adults. <br /> Activity#3 <br /> Neighborhood leaders will attend Regional Neighborhood Network Conference to <br /> highlight successes taking place in our city as well as learn from other participating <br /> cities what is working. The goal is to bring back ideas and implement projects on how <br /> we can improve our neighborhoods; Goal: 10 participants. <br /> General Administration <br /> The CONO Executive Board will be responsible for monthly reporting activities and <br /> issuing grants to assist neighborhood groups with literacy, neighborhood building <br /> and/or life skill activities. A monthly report should include detail information gathered <br /> about expenditures, meeting attendance, grants, and activities. <br /> Recipient Agreement(Rev. 318118) Page 1 of 15 <br />
