ORDINANCE NO. 2 018—17 <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT THE <br /> SOUTHERNMOST PARKING SPACE ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH MARTIN <br /> LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE IN THE PARKING LANE WHICH ENDS 195 FEET NORTH <br /> OF THE CENTERLINE OF EAST MARIETTA STREET <br /> BE IT ORDAINED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs or markings are provided giving notice thereof, <br /> parking be, and it is hereby,prohibited at the southernmost parking space along the west side of <br /> North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the parking lane which ends 195 feet north of the centerline <br /> of East Marietta Street at all times and the same is hereby restricted to only those vehicles bearing <br /> special registration plates issued for operation of vehicles by or for the physically handicapped, or <br /> those vehicles displaying a handicapped decal. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined, not to exceed, Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) <br /> for each offense. <br /> Section 3.
