' CITY OF DECATUR <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> tSP-16 AMERICAN REDBUD TREE <br /> Description: This work includes the planting of new 2 inch diameter American Redbud <br /> Trees (Cercus Canadasis) as well as using good organic dirt as backfill topped with 2 inches of <br /> river rock. The trees must be watered until the tree is established. The contractor will replace any <br /> tree that dies either before the tree is established or before 1 year after planting,whichever is <br /> longer. <br /> Basis of Payment: All labor, materials, and warranty necessary to complete this work <br />' will be paid for at the contract unit price per EACH for AMERICAN REDBUD TREE, <br /> (CERCUS CANADASIS)2". <br />' SP-17 ALTERNATE STREETS <br /> This project contains a list of alternate streets that may or may not be chosen as part of <br />' the final project. The City may also choose any portion of any of the alternate streets to be <br /> included in the final project without necessarily including the entire length of the street as <br /> defined in the project location and on the location map. The cost of a portion of a street will be <br />' based on the unit prices provided for that alternate location. The City will convey which alternate <br /> locations and what portions of those locations were chosen to the Contractor in writing along <br /> with adjusted quantities. <br />' SP-18 PARKING LOT ISLAND POSTS <br />' Description: If parking posts can be salvaged when removing the island in the <br /> Downtown Alley,they shall be re-installed in the new island such that they will be centered in <br /> front of each parking stall. If the posts cannot be salvaged,the City will provide new posts to be <br />' installed. <br /> Basis of Payment: Cost of the work will not be paid for separately but shall be <br />' considered as included with the various work items involved. <br /> SP-19 SIDEWALKS,CURBS,AND CURB RAMPS <br />' Description: All sidewalks, and curb ramps must be replaced and open to pedestrian <br /> traffic within 7 calendar days of removal. <br /> Basis of Payment: This work will not be paid for separately but shall be considered as <br /> included with the various work items involved. <br />' END <br /> CITY OF DECATUR <br />' SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />' 61 <br />
