Anderson Plaza, <br /> Decatur, Illinois, 62523, until 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018, and thereafter publicly <br /> opened and read. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: <br /> The proposed improvement is officially known as: <br /> 2018 MISCELLANEOUS SANITARY AND STORM SEWER <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> CITY PROJECT 2018-09 <br /> The proposed project herein specified and described includes the following work: <br /> This work shall consist of making point repairs in the City's storm and sanitary sewer <br /> system at various locations around the City including the installation of new manholes as <br /> required. This project will perform a majority of the City's rapid response storm and <br /> sanitary sewer system repairs through June 1, 2019, along with any additional storm and <br /> ' sanitary sewer repair work identified by the City. The work also includes pavement <br /> removal and restoration along with traffic control, and other items of restoration. <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: <br /> 1. A MANDATORY PRE-BID WILL BE HELD ON Wednesday May 9, 2018 AT <br /> 11:00 A.M. IN THE PUBLIC WORKS CONFERENCE ROOM ON THE 3P1 <br /> FLOOR OF THE DECATUR CIVIC CENTER. In addition to project questions, <br /> the opportunity will be provided to discuss the City's minority participation goals. <br /> Attendance is required to bid on the proiect, a telephone conference will be <br /> setup for bidders who cannot attend the meeting in-person.
