RESOLUTION NO. R2018 - 1 1 7 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPERTY AND LIABILITY <br /> INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS <br /> FOR THE POLICY PERIOD OCTOBER 1,2018 TO OCTOBER 1,2019 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur current business insurance coverage shall <br /> expire September 30, 2018, and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is in need of property and liability insurance <br /> coverage for the period October 1,2018 through October 1, 2019; and <br /> WHEREAS, Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. has secured <br /> quotes on the City's behalf for property and liability insurance for the period October 1, <br /> 2018 through October 1, 2019; and, <br /> WHEREAS, AIX Specialty Insurance Company (Hanover Insurance <br /> Companies) has submitted a quote to provide property, general liability, employee <br /> benefits liability, errors and omissions liability, employment practice liability, sexual <br /> harassment liability, sexual abuse liability, law enforcement liability, automobile <br /> liability, in the amount of$264,473.00. <br /> BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the quote of AIX Specialty Insurance Company (Hanover <br /> Insurance Companies) to supply property, general liability, employee benefits liability, <br /> errors and omissions liability, employment practice liability, sexual harassment liability, <br /> sexual abuse liability, law enforcement liability, automobile liability, in the amount of <br /> $264,473.00 to the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, accepted and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager be, and is hereby authorized to direct Risk <br /> Management to execute the Client Authorization to Bind Coverage with Arthur J. <br /> Gallagher Risk Management Services for the afore-mentioned service in accordance <br /> with the quotes as submitted by said companies. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September,2018. <br />
