Staff recommends approval of the amendments contained in the staff report. A copy of the
proposed amendments is attached.
Mr. Bruce Frantz asked if there was a fee schedule. Mr. Lai stated the fees are established by City
Code 41.2 and an additional fee would be required if a variance was requested.
Mr. Frantz asked who is paying for the power to the wireless stations. Mr. John Robinson said the
owner of the transmission facility would be required to pay for power.
Mr. Bill Clevenger asked if the wireless stations were installed on Park District property would
they be subject to City approval and City fees. Mr. Lai said that is correct. Mr. Robinson said the
Park District would be treated as a property owner and would have to have an agreement with the
company wishing to install the wireless station.
There were no objectors present.
Upon call of the roll, Commission members Bill Clevenger, Bruce Frantz, Jack, Myatt, Mike
Peoples, Tom Brinkoetter and Acting Chairman Susie Peck voted aye. Acting Chairman Peck
declared the motion carried.
