� � �m �� e�m �� Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1 in Block 1 of said Durfee Warren& Co. 1 st Addition; thence South to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 in Block 2 of said Durfee Warren& Co. 1 st Addition; thence West along the North lot lines of Lot 1 in said Block 2 of said Durfee Warren& Co. 1 st Addition, the North lot lines of Lots 2 thru 14 of said Sellers Resurvey and North lot lines of Lots 15 thru 25 of said Block 2 of said Durfee Warren& Co. 1 st Addition to the intersection with the East right of way line of North Franklin Street; thence Northwest along the said East right of way line of North Franklin Street to the intersection with the South lot line of Lot 25 in Block 1 of said Durfee Warren & Co. 1 st Addition; thence East along the South lot lines of Lot 25 thru 1 of said Block 1 of Durfee Warren& Co. lst Addition to the place of beginning. Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 43 of Lake Park Addition as per plat recorded in Book 536, Page 105 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence Easterly 60 feet to the East Right-of-Way line of Ridge Avenue; thence Southerly along said East Right-of-Way line a distance of 35 feet; thence Westerly 60 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot 43; thence Northerly 35 feet to the point of beginning; and, WHEREAS,the Decatur City Council held a public hearing on September 4th, 2018 on the proposal of the said public right-of-way vacations, upon due notice, including owners of the properties abutting the said rights-of-way, and after a determination by Council that there were unusual circumstances justifying that; and, WHEREAS, said public rights-of-way are no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owners of the properties abutting thereon as public rights-of-way; and, WHEREAS, no compensation shall be required as the proposed public right-of-way vacations are considered with sale of other City-owned parcels for the planned Wabash Community Care Campus that the City is a redevelopment partner of; and, WHEREAS, all appropriate utility companies were contacted and expressed no objections to the proposed vacations; and, WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said public rights-of-way and the public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That upon the condition set forth below, the above-described public rights-of- way be, and the same is hereby vacated inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacations, said public rights-of-way being shown on the plats thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
