�m �r��:� i��e��: .�+�� <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants set out herein, it is <br /> agreed by and between the Owner(s) of the premises described at paragraph 8 hereof, <br /> and which person or persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner"), and THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS, ("City"), as follows: <br /> 1. The provisions of this Agreement, and the installarion, operation and use <br /> of the water service authorized hereby, are expressly made subject to all <br /> applicable provisions of codes, ordinances, rules and regulations of City, <br /> and Owner agrees to comply therewith. <br /> 2. After completion of the construction of a water main by the City in the <br /> street or roadway adjacent to the premises described herein, and upon <br /> obtaining a tapping permit in the customary manner followed by the City <br /> for premises within its corporate limits, Owner may tap said water main of <br /> City and connect a water service thereto to furnish residential service only <br /> to said premises. <br /> 3. Said tap, connecrion and service shall be made and installed by a licensed <br /> plumber. <br /> 4. The water furnished by City shall only be used for domestic purposes and <br /> only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5. At such time as said premises become contiguous to the corporate limits of <br /> City, the then owner of said premises shall, within ninety (90) days after <br /> receiving notice from City thereof, petition to annex the same to the Ciry. <br /> If a perition is not received within the time period, or the property is not <br /> annexed as a result of the perition, water service will be immediately <br /> terminated without further notice. <br /> 6. This agreement shall terminate upon the failure by Owner to comply with <br /> any provision hereof or with any applicable provision of City Code, <br /> ordinances, rules or regularions, or upon the annexation of said premises to <br /> the City, and may be terminated by either party upon six (6) months norice <br />
