�. ��=�.� �;�a��: .��.� <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consid�ration of the undertakings and covenants set out herein, <br /> it is agreed by and between the Owner(s) of the premises described at paragraph <br /> 8 hereof, and which person or persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner"), and <br /> THE CITY 4F DECATUR, ILLINOIS, {"City"}, as follows: <br /> 1. The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, operat�on and <br /> use of tlie water service authorized hereby, are expressly made subjecfi to all <br /> applicable provisions of codes, ordinances, rules and regula�ions of Cziy, and <br /> Owner agxees to comply therewith. � <br /> 2. After completion of the canshuction of a water m,a.in by the City in the <br /> slreet or roadway adj acent to the premises described he:rein, and upon obtazning <br /> a tapping permzt in the customary manner followed by the C�ty for premises <br /> within its corporate liznits, Owner may tap said water main of City and connect <br /> a watex service thereto to furnish residenrial service only to said pxemi.ses. <br /> 3. Said tap, connection and service shall be made and installed by a <br /> licensed plumber. � � <br /> 4. The water fiunished by City sha11 only be used for domestic purposes <br /> and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5. At such t�me as said premises become contiguous to the corporate <br /> limits of City, the then owner of said premises shall, within ninety (90) days <br /> , after receiving notice from City thereof, pe�ition to annex the same to the City. <br /> Tf a petition is not received within the time period, or the property is not <br /> annexed as a r�sult of the petition, water service w7il� be immediately terminated <br /> without further notice. � <br /> 6. This agreement shall ternunate upon the failure by Owner to camply. <br /> with any provision hereof or with any applicable provision of City Code, <br /> ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon the annexation of said premises to the <br /> City, and may be ternunated by either party upon six (6) months norice by <br /> certified mail to the City, or to <br />
