Irons,Neighbarhood Services Manager <br /> SUBJECT: <br /> Adaption af FY 1$-I9 Armual Actian Plan for CDBG and H4ME Funds <br /> SUMMARY RECOMIVIENDATION: <br /> Staff recpmrnends adoprion of the FY 18-19 Atmual Action Plan for CDBG and H4ME funds. The U. S. Departrr�ent of <br /> Housing arul Urban Develapment reviewed and appraved the City's Annuai Action Plan for FY 18-29. This year's ailacatian <br /> includes$1,378,'744 in Community Development Block Grant funds and$444,741 in HOME Investrnent Partnership funds. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In accardance with the guidelines set farth by the U. S. Deparar�eni of Housing and Urban Development{]3UD},the <br /> Neighborhood Services Division develops an Annual Action Plan. The Armual Action Plan describes funding allocations for <br /> Fiscal Year 2018-19 along with strategic implementatian of the priorities identified in the City's Five Year Consolidated Plan, <br /> FY 20I5-ZOt9{see attached}. Tl�City Cauncil reviewed and approved the CDBG and H(�ME fiznds during the adoptipn of <br /> the City's FY18 budget. <br /> The FY18-19 Annual Action Plan is available far public review in three locations: Decatur Public Library,Decatur Housing <br /> Authority Administrative Office,and the Econamic and Conuuunity Development Departruent.
