LETTER to the DECATUR CITY COUNCIL Financial Management Department #2018-14 DATE: November 26, 2018 TO: Honorable Mayor Moore Wolfe and City Council Members FROM: Billy Tyus, City Manager Gregg Zientara, City Treasurer&Director of Finance SUBJECT: Resolution Approving the Budget for the City of Decatur for the Fiscal Period Beginning January 1, 2019 and Ending December 31, 2019 SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: City Administration recommends City Council approval of the attached Resolution approving the budget for the fiscal period January 1, 2019 to December 31,2019. BACKGROUND: City Administration presented the budget to City Council members at the November 19, 2018 Council meeting in Study Session. In addition, City Administration communicated and discussed the budget with City Council Members in one-on-one sessions. A public discussion session was held on November 28, 2018. POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution request. INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: No input from other sources.
