CITY OF DECATUR <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> FOR <br /> BITUMINOUS PAVEMENT MATERIALS <br /> SPECIAL GONDITIONS (continued): <br /> The City wouid award the contract to Company A, subject to the other bidding <br /> requirements being satisfied. <br /> 3. Unit prices quoted shall be F.O.B. at the mix plant. <br /> 4. Ordered materials will be picked up by the City on a partial shipment basis as <br /> can be transported by City vehicles. <br /> 5. The mix plant shall be located within 5 miles of the City limits. <br /> 6. The Contractor shall provide to the City's Municipal Services Manager the <br /> asphalt plant operating schedule(s) including, at a minimum, the following <br /> information: <br /> - Anticipated annual opening and closing dates for the asphalt plant. <br /> - Days of the week and hours for each day that City can pick up materials. <br /> - Seasonal availability of Cold Mix material. <br /> 7. The Contractor shall advise the City's Municipal Services Manager prior to the <br /> temporary shutdown of the asphalt plant if material availability will be impacted. <br /> 8. The City will award a contract to the successful bidder to provide Bituminous <br /> Pavement Materials to the City beginning January 1, 2019 and ending December <br /> 31, 2019. <br /> 9. The contract shall terminate at 12:00 p.m. local time, December 31, 2019. <br /> BASIS OF AWARD: <br /> A single contract will be awarded by the City to the contractor submitting the lawest <br /> responsive, responsible proposa! to the City. <br /> 13 <br />
