It would be the <br /> recommendation of staff to authorize the execution of purchase arders as shown in E�ibit A. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The Decatur Police Deparhnent purchases firearm ammunition on an annual basis for routine handgun range training and <br /> qualification,patrol rifle range training and qualification,Emergency Response Team firearm training,recnut firearm training and <br /> qualification,and for standard on-duty airnrnuiitioa <br /> PRIOR COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> Prior Council action has approved similar requests for prior years.
