BID PRQPOSAL RETURN WITH BID� For Construction of: M.L.KING WATERMAIN FLUW METER TEST VAULT PROJECT City Project No.: 2019-01 Owner: City o�Decatur, Illinois Pmspective Bidder: The undexsigned Bidder, having examined the specif cations, drawings and atI other documents contained in the Contract Documents, and having examined the site where the work is being perfarmed, and having fatniliarized themselves with any tacal conditions effecting the work and having knowledge of the cost of work at the place where the work is to be done,hereby proposes to execute and perfarm the farmal Contract set farth in these Contract I7acuments, of which this Propasal forms a part, and will da the work therein described on khe terms and COIIt�2�241�S therein set forth; and furnish ali required labor, materials, taals, equzpment, transportation and services far said work, and pay all applicable taxes and other incidental costs, alI in strict conformity with the drawings and specificataons forming a part af the Contract Docunnents, for an amaunt computed upon the basis of the quantity of work actually performed at the bid prices noted betaw. It is understood that any listed quantities of work to be performed at unit prices are approximate only and are intended principally ta serve as a guide in evaluating bids. It is further agreed that any qnantities of work to be performed at unit prices and rnateriat to be furnished may bs increased or decreased as may be considered necessary, in the opinian of the Owner, to camplete the work fully as planned and cantemplated and that ail quantities of work, whether increased or decreased, are ta be perf'ormed at the unit prices set forth in the E3id Propasai,except as pravided for in the General Conditions. It is further agreed that any lump sum prices rnay be increased to caver additionai wark ordered by the C?wner, but not shvwn on the plans ar required by the specifications, in accordance with the provisions of the General Conditions. Similarty, they may be decreased to cover deletion of wark so ordered. Where supplementa.l nnit prices are available, they shall be used to adjust lump sum prices. By submitting a bid, the Bidder acknowledges the understanding that the bid pracess is solely intended to serve the public interest in achieving the highest quality of services and goods at the Iowest price, and that no right, interest, ar expectation sha]I vest or inure ta the benefit af Bidders as a result of any reliance ar participatian in the process. l3
