R- 1.�}t�' I I f <br /> RESOLUTION INDICATING INTENT TQ ANNEX AN <br /> UNINCt3RPURATED TERRITORY,SETTING A HEARING TO <br /> CQNSIDER SUCH ANNEXATION,AND DIRECTING <br /> PUBLICATION UF HEARIN�Nt3TICE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur desires to annex a certain unincorporated territory <br /> containing sixty(60)acres or less, located an 19b4 South Taylorvilte Road, and more specifically <br /> described as follow: <br /> The West 215 Feet af the East 315 Feet of the West 8.79 Chains of the Sautheast <br /> Quarter(SE'/a)af the Southwest Quarker(SW'la}af Section 21 Township 16 Narth <br /> Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Lying South af the Right of Way <br /> Line of S.B.I. Route 48. Situated in Macan County, Illinois; and <br /> WHEREAS,the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate Iimits;and <br /> WHEREAS,the City is authorized to annex the area withaut a petition pursuant ta 65 ILCS <br /> 5/7-1-13. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED $Y THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, as <br /> follows: <br /> Section l. That the City Cterk be,and she is hereby, directed to publish a Notice of Intent <br /> to Annex the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on September 3, <br /> 20]1,at 5:30 p.m. Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit A and hereby made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> Section 2.
