Local Pubiic Agency Agreement
<br /> The Local Public Agency Agreement authorizes a$3,600,000 allocation af Freight Funds ta assist
<br /> with the purchase af right of way for ihe project($2,bQ0,040 in Freight Funds}and the relocation af
<br /> an electrical substation($2,QOO,OQO in Freight Funds). The City's partion to match the $3,600,000 in
<br /> Freight Funds is$3,218,4Q0 and is propased to be paid out of the State Motor Fuel Taac Fund with
<br /> $2,000,004 being reimbursed in the future from Railroad Grade Crossing Protection Funds once an
<br /> order has been issued by the Illinois Cammerce Commission.
<br /> Utility Agreemeut
<br /> The proposed Agreement for Reimbursable Utility Adjustment between the State of Illinois,the City
<br /> af Decatur, and the Ameren Illinois Company is#a relocate the electrical substation located at 1$40
<br /> North Brush College Road (see the attached lacation map) at an estirnated cost af$4,817,982.
<br /> Project Funding Summary
<br /> The current status of the project funding is provided in'I'able 1 beiow. The City is currently working
<br /> with the Illinois Commerce Commissian to gain final approval for$12 million in Grade Crossing
<br /> Pr4tection funds.
