SECTIQN III. CITY'S RESPC3NSIBILITIES The City sl�all, A. FURNISH REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIC}NS Pravide all criteria and fuli infarmation as to the City's reyuirernents for the Project, including design objectives and canstraints, space, capacity and performance requirements, flexibility and expandability,econamic parameters and any budgetary limitatians; and furnish copies of all design and constructian standards which the City will require to be included in the Drawings and Speci�cations. B. FURNISH INFORMATION. Assist the Consulting Engineer by placing at the Cansulting Engineer`s disposal atl availabte infor�nation pertinent to the Praject including previoas reports and any other data relative to design or constructian of the Praject. C. FURNISH TECHNICAL INFORMATION. Furnish to the Consulting Engineer, as required for performance af tl�e Cansutting Engineer's Basic Services{except to ttze extent provided otherwise in Exhibit A, "Scope of Work"), data prepared by or services of others, including withaut limitatian, core borings,p�•abings anci subsurface explaz•ations, hydrographic surveys, tabot-atary tests and inspections of samples, materia}s and equipment; appropriate prafessional interpretations of all ofthe foregoing; enviromnental assessnlent and impact statements;property, boundary, easement, right-of- way,topographic and utility surveys; property descriptions, zoning, daed and other land use restriction; all of which the Consulting Engineer may rely upon in performing tl�e Consulting Engineer's services. U. SURVEYS F�.ND REFERENCE POINTS. Prc�vide field controt su�•veys and estabIish reference points and base lines except to the extent provided atherwise in Section lI to enable the Contractor(s) to p�•oceed with the layout of the work. E. ACCESS TO PROPERTY. Arrange for access to and make all pravisions for the Cansulting Engineer to enter upaa�public and private praperty as required fa�•the Consulting Etlgineer to perform the Consulting Engineer's services. F. REVIEW DOCUMENTS. Examine all studies, reports, sketcl�es, drawings, specificatians, praposais and other daeuments presented by the Canszilting Engineer, obtain advice of an attorney, insurance counselor and other consultants as tlie City's Representative deems apprapriate for suc11 exantination and render in wri#i7ag ciecisions pertaining fheretc�within a reast�nable time sa as not to delay the services of tl�e Collsulting Engineer. G. O$TAIN APPROVALS AND PERMITS, Furnish approvals and permits fi•om all gavernmental ai►thorities liaving jLErisdictian aver t1�e Project and such approvals and consents from oti�ers as may be necessary for completioy� of the Project. H. ACCOLTNTING LEGAL AND INSURANCE SERVICE Provide such accounting, independent cost estimating and insurance counselizig services as rnay be required for the Project, such lega�services as the Ci#y's Representative may require ar the Consulting Engineer may reasonably request with regard to legal issues pertaining to the Project including any that may be raised by the Contractar{s}, such auditing service as the City's Representative may require ta ascertain how or for what purpose any Contractor has used the rnaneys paid ta him under the construction contract,and sucli inspection services as the City's Representative may reql�ire to ascertain that the Contractar(s)are complying with any law, rule or regulation applicable to their performance of the work except as otherwise provided in Section II.
