ORDINARiCE N4. 2019-�3 W <br /> C)RDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION 4F ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR <br /> ON PUBLIC RIGHTS-QF-WAY <br /> 100 BLOCK MERCHANT STREET <br /> NORTHEAST COMMUNITY FUND <br /> -FEET1 THE FUND- <br /> SEPTEMBER 21,2419 <br /> WHEREAS,Norkheast Comrnunity Fund has requested the closure of the 100 block af Merchant <br /> Street between East Prairie Avenue and East Main Street for the Feed the Fund event; and, <br /> WHEREAS,it is the intention of Northeast Community Fund to offer alcoholic beverages for sale <br /> to patrons for consumption at this event; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcohalic liquor in the 100 Block Merchant Street between <br /> East Prairie Avenue and East Main Street requires ihe express appraval of the City CounciL <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.That on the day listed herein,and on]y an such day,between the hours listed apposite <br /> said day,alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the 100 Black Merchant Street,between East Prairie <br /> Avenue and East Main Street,said day and hours being particularly described as foilows: <br /> Saturday, September 21,2419 630 p.m.— 11:00 p.m. <br /> Section 2.That no alcoholic beverage may be consumed as provided herein unless such alcoholic <br /> beverage is in a plastic ar paper cup, <br /> Section 3.That this ordinance is expressly conditianed and approved upon Northeast Community <br /> Fund providing to the City af Decatur an agreennent which will hold the City of Decatur harrnless for any <br /> and all damages incurred by persons attending this event and indemnifying the City for any and all <br /> darnages and lawsuits. <br /> Section 4.That aIt debris shall be removed by Nartheast Comrnunity Fund prior to reopening public <br /> rights-of-way. <br /> Section 5.
