RESCMLUTION NO.R2019- �y� RESQLUTION AUTI-�ORIZING PRt�PERTY AND LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS FCIR THE POLICY PERIC}D QCTC}BER 1,2019 T4 QCTOBER 1,2020 WHEREAS, the City of Decatur current business insurance coverage shall expire October 1, 2019, and, WHEREAS, the City of Decatur is in need af property and liability insurance coverage for the period Octaber 1, 2019 through October I, 2020; and WHEREAS, Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. has secured quates an the City's behalf for property and liability insurance for the period October l, 2019 through October l, 2020; and, WHEREAS, AIX Specialty Insurance Company (Hanover Insurance Campanies) has submitted a quate to pravide praperty, general liability, employee benefits liability, errors and omissions liability, employment practice liability, sexual harassment liability, sexual abuse liability, law enforcement liability, automobile liability, in the arnount of$272,025.00. BE IT TE�EREFORE RES4LVED BY THE CITY C4UNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the quote of AIX Specialty Insurance Company (Hanover Insurance Companies) ta supply property, general liability, employee benefits liability, errors and omissions liability, employment practice liability, sexual harassment liability, sexual abuse liability, law enforcement liability, autamobile liability, in the amount of $272,025.Q0 to the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby, accepted and approved. Section 2. Tl�at the City Manager be, and is hereby authorized to direct Risk Management to execute the Client Authorization ta Bind Coverage with Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services for the afore-mentioned service in accordance with the quotes as submitted by said campanies. PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 23`d day af September,2019.
