R-R�(JI�( — 1�C� <br /> RESOLUTION INDICATING INTENT TO ANNEX AN <br /> UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, SETTING A HEARING TO <br /> CONSIDER SUCH ANNEXATION.AND DIRECTING <br /> PUBLICATION OF HEARING NOTICE <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur desires to annex a certain unincorporated territory containing sixty <br /> (60) acres or less, located on East Mound Road, North Greenswitch Road, Cleta Street, Carolyn Avenue, <br /> and more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof; and <br /> WHEREAS,the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate limits; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is authorized to annex the area without a petition pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/7-1- <br /> 13. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, as follows: <br /> Section 1. That the City Clerk be,and she is hereby, directed to publish a Notice of Intent to Annex <br /> the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on November 18, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit B and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2.
