PRIOIZ COUNCII. ACTI01�1: There have been no prior Council actions. BACKGROIJI�ID: September 26,2019 - the Traffic &Parking Commission approved a request from City staff recommending that vehicles of the second division, Class C or higher, be prohibited from traveling along East Hickory Street between North 22nd Street and North 23rd Street. Class C or higher vehicles are vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating above 16,000 pounds. Many other preferred routes exist for large trucks travelling east from N. 22nd Street. This prohibition will not apply to vehicles making service calls or deliveries to the properties along this stretch of road or to emergency vehicles or school buses. Staff sent a letter to residents along this block of E. Hickory Street and no comments were received. SCHEI)IJI.E: Installation is normally completed within 14 days of Council authorization.
