ORDINANCE NO,r��'-��7 ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE -CHAPTER 34— -TRAFFIC AND PARKING— $E 1T ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLIN4IS: Sectian 1. That Chapter 34 af the City Cade of the City of Decatur, I1�inois, be, and the same is hereby modified and amended by amending language to Section 37, reflecting the amendment. Said Sectian 37 as so madified and amended, sha11 provide as follaws: 37. REMOVAL QF VEHICLES. Folice afficers are hereby autharized to remove or cause to be removed a vehicle fram a public street or highway to the nearest garage, impound lot or other place of safety, or to a location designated by the Palice Chief, under the following circumstances:... ...M. When any vehicle is used in the possession or delivery of a cantrolled substance as defined and included in the schedules of Article II of the Illinois Controlled Substance Act, 720 II,CS 570/101 et. seq., of cannabis over 10 grams as defined in the Cannabis Cantrol Act, 724 ILCS S54/1 et. seq. and in violation of the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act ar drug paraphernalia wheta passessed with the intent ta introduce a cantralled substance inta the human body as defined in the Drug Paraphernalia Controi Act, 720 ILCS 600/2 et seq. unless possessed in conjunction with cannabis as perrnitted by the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act. This subsection shall take effect on the first day af January, ZQ20. Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof ta be appropriately set out i�i the City Code and ta cause the same to be published in pamphlet forrn according to law.
