AGREEMENT <br /> A.F.S.C.M.E.LOCAL 268 <br /> CITY OF DECATUR ILLINUIS <br /> JANUARY 1,2020 THROUGH DECEMBER 31.2022 <br /> This Agreement has been made and entered into by and between the city af Decatur, <br /> Tllinois (hereinafter referred to as the"City"),and the American Federation of State, <br /> County and Municipal Employees,AFL-CIO,Counci131,for and on behalf af Loca1 <br /> 268 (hereinafter referred to as the"Unian"�. <br /> Section One:The Agreement entered into and approved between the City and the <br /> llnion on June 5,2017 for the period May 1,2017 to December 31,2020 shaIl, <br /> effective on January 1,2020,be repiaced and supplanted by this agreement, <br /> combined with the June 5,2017 Agreement,as altered and amended by this <br /> Agreement. <br /> Section Two: The Agreement entered into and approved between the City and the <br /> Union on June 5, 2017 for the period May 1, 2017 to December 31,2020 is <br /> incarporated into this agreement in its entirety EXCEPT: <br /> a. Article 6 is amended by adding a new Section 2(e) ta read as fallows: <br /> "(e)The annuaI rate of pay for each step and grade of the pay plan for the <br /> respective classified positions in effect January 2,2021,shall be at rates <br /> that are two-and-nne quarter percent(2.25�jo}over wages paid as of <br /> january 1,2020:' <br /> b. Article&is amended by adding a new Section Z(f�to read as follows: <br /> "(f�The annual rate of pay for each step and grade af fihe pay plan for the <br /> respective ciassified positions in effect January 1, 2022,shall be at rates <br /> thaC are two-and-one quarter percent(2.25�/0)over wages paid as of <br /> january 1,2021:' <br /> c. Article 18 is repeated and replaced in its entirety.The new Article 18 is <br /> attached. <br /> d. Articie 27,Section 1 only,is amended to read as faliaws: <br /> "This Agreement shall become e€fective as af January 1, 2020 and shali <br /> rernain in full force and effect through December 31,2022 and thereafter <br /> from year ta year as the parties hereta shall agree,ar until terminated. <br /> This Agreement may be terminated by either party hereto by giving <br /> written notice to the other party sixty(60) days prior to Decem6er 31, � <br /> 2022,ar sixty days priar to any subsequent contract terminatian date <br /> agreed ta by the City and the Union." <br />
