Examples of s�mptoms that mav indicafe the presence af an emergen� medical <br /> condition include, but are not limited to. difficulty breathinq, sever chest pains convutsians or <br /> persistent severe abdominat pains:" <br /> Sectian 3. Those emptoyees who retired after�Jtay 9, 1981, or were placed on disability <br /> pension pursuant to State statute after said date, shal!be entitled#o belong tr�#he employee and <br /> dependent group insurance program provicied for emplayees under the provisions af this <br /> agreement provided #hat such re#ired or disabted employees pay the sntire premium for such <br /> insurance. <br /> Effective January 1, 2Q18, and thereafter, th�se retirees, disability pensioners, fheir <br /> spouses and dependents who are enrotled in the smployee and dependenf group insurance <br /> programs provided for employees under the prav'rsions of this agreement, wha reach Medicare <br /> efigibility age, who are Medicare eligib(e, and who �nr�fl in Medicare shall na longer be eligible <br /> for#he group health insurance pragram. Alternatively,tl�e City sha#!offer a commercially-available <br /> Medicare supplement policy, to the extent that such is available, ta such enrollees. The parties <br /> hers#o agree that the coverage shall only be affered at the time the enrollee initiaUy elects <br /> Medicare,#here shall be no gap in coverage far those aanverting from City coverage to Medicare <br /> supplement ccrverage, and such retired or disabled emptoyees and fiheir dependents shaii pay <br /> the entire premiums for such insurance. <br /> Section 4.The City wiil pravide maternity benefits as required by ai(applica6le Sfate and <br /> Fecierat taws. C3ff-the job iilness wiil be administered in accordance with Administrative Policy & <br /> Procedure No. F-452. <br /> Section 5. Employees wi!! be eligit�le far the Gity Denfa!
