R- .ZO�q �-���-� <br /> RESOLUTION INDICATING INTENT TO ANNEX AN <br /> UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, SETTING A HEARING TO <br /> CONSIDER SUCH ANNEXATION.AND DIRECTING <br /> PUBLICATION OF HEARING NOTICE <br /> -3820 EAST GARFIELD AVENUE- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur desires to annex a certain unincorporated territory <br /> containing sixty (60) acres or less, located on 3820 East Garfield Avenue, and more specifically <br /> described as follows: <br /> The West 60 Feet of Lot 20 of Westlake Third Addition of Outlots to the City of <br /> Decatur,as per Plat Recorded in Book 536 Page 66 of the Records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois; and <br /> WHEREAS,the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate limits; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City is authorized to annex the area without a petition pursuant to 65 ILCS <br /> 5/7-1-13. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to publish a Notice of Intent <br /> to Annex the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on February 3, 2020, <br /> at 5:30 p.m. Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit A and hereby made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> Section 2.
