R- ��q ��2� `�J RESOLUTION INDICATING INTENT TO ANNEX AN UNINC4RPQRATED TERRITORY, SETTING A HEARING TO CONSIDER SUCH ANNEXATION,AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION(}F HEARING NOTICE -LOT SOUTH OF 389 WEST GROVE ROAD- WHEREAS, the City of Decatur desires to annex a certain unincorporated territory containing sixty (60) acres or less, located on Lot Sauth af 389 West Grove Raad, and more specif ca11y described as follows: The East 'l2 of the Northwest r!a of the Northeast 14 of Section 34, Township 16, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M., Situated in Macon Caunty, Illinais; Excepting the Following: Tract A: The Sauth 355 Feet of the East Half of the Northwest r/4 of the Northeast '/4 of Said Section 34, Township 16, Range 2 East. Tract B. The East 462 Feet of the North 300 Feet af the East Half of the Northwest '/4 af the Northeast '/4 of Said Section 34, Township 16, Range 2 East and the West 194 Feet of the North I 50 Feet of the East Half of the Northwest i/a of the Nartheast %of Said Section 34, Township 16, Range 2 East; and WHEREAS,the area to be annexed is wholly bounded by the City's corporate limits; and WHEREAS,the City is authorized to annex the area without a petition pursuant to 65 ILCS 517-1-13. NOVV THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY fJF DECATUR, ILLIN{�IS, as follaws: Section 1. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to publish a Notice of Intent to Annex the property described herein at the City Council's regular meeting on February 3,2020, at 5:34 p.m. Said Notice of Intent to Annex is attached hereto as Exhibit A and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2. That said Natice of Intent to Annex shall be published once in a newspaper af general circulation in the City af Decatur nat less than ten (10) days prior ta the City Council's consideration af said annexation ordinance.
