Any fee ar fees assessed as herein pravided, and any judgment entered far same, sha11 be in addition to any�ne imposed by the Circuit Court under this Chapter. No certificate of accupancy sha11 be issued for any building for which re-inspection fees are unpaid. 16. WITHHOLDING OF PERMITS. Building permits may be withheld from permit applicants,or in the case of combined permits from the licensed subcontractor,wha is in vialation of Chapters 67, 67.2, 68, 69, ar 70.1 of the City Code at a lacation other than that for which a permit is being sought. 5uch vio�atian may include,but sha11 nat be limited to the fo114wing: A. Failure to arrange for inspections required under Chapters 67, 67.2, 6$, 69, and/or 70.1 of the City Code within a reasanable time frame. B. Failure to take reasonable requested action ta uncover work which requires inspection but has been hidden fram view of the inspector. C. Failure to pay required permit or re-inspection fees. D. Failure to abtain a building permit for work which required a building permit. E.Failure to take reasonable action to notify and obtain approval from Inspection Division of changes made to appraved building permits, F. Falsifying infprrnatian on building permit applications. G. Performance of building permit wark under an invalid or voided building permit. H. Failure tp obtain a required certificate of accupancy before occupying or allawing accupancy of new constructian or change in use. Permit applicants from which permits are to be withheld must be notified by rnailing notice ofsame to the permit applicant or licensed subcontractor by certified mail,return receipt requested. Said notice shall inform the permit applicant or licensed subcontractor af the violations, which if carrected, will allow the City to issue to the permit applicant or licensed subcontractar additional permits. Corrections shall be made within fourteen(14) days after mailing of such natice, which notice must contain a statement of the right of the perrnit applicant or licensed subcontractor to appeal the same to the Construction and Hausing Board of Appeals and the time limitation thereon. Permits withheld as herein provided may be appealed to the Construction and Housing Baard af Appeals by filing a notice of such appeal with the City C1erk within fourteen (14} days of the mailing of notice of such withholding. An appeal shall stay the due date for corrections required unti� the date af the fina� order of the Board. Any action to withhold permits as herein provided and/or any judgment entered for same, sha11 be in addition to any fine irnposed by the Circuit Caurt under sectian af this Chapter. Section 2. That the City C1erk be, and she is hereby, autharized and directed ta cause the provisions hereof to be appropriately set out in the City Code and to cause the same to be published in pamphlet form accarding ta law.
