ORDINANCE NO. XaQ ' <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF WEST RIVERVIEW AVENUE AND SOUTH DENNIS AVENUE <br /> FACING SOUTH DENNIS AVENUE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED,BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on South Dennis Avenue approaching West Riverview Avenue from the north and south <br /> shall stop and yield the right-of-way to vehicles on West Riverview Avenue which have entered the <br /> intersection of said street or which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate <br /> hazard, but said driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as <br /> a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2.
