IV. DUTIES OF THE DISTRICT: <br /> A. Abide by all applicable provisions of federal, state and local legislation dealing <br /> with items contained in this Agreement. <br /> B. The District agrees to perform the educational portion of the IEPA General Permit <br /> for Discharges from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (General <br /> NPDES Permit No. ILR40) for the Macon County MS4. <br /> C. The responsibilities of the District are to: <br /> a. Maintain and update the MS4 website <br /> b. Provide a minimum of two (2) educational programs within the MS4 year <br /> (April 1 —March 31)to the construction industry, including general <br /> contractors, engineers, landscape architects and developers. <br /> c. Work in coordination with Champaign County MS4 group for the annual <br /> education seminars. The Macon County MS4 group will host a seminar <br /> for IEPA Reporting Periods ending in odd numbered years and the <br /> Champaign County MS4 will host a seminar for IEPA Reporting Periods <br /> ending in the even numbered of years. <br /> d. Distribute MS4 educational pamphlets at community organizations, <br /> neighborhood associations and schools to get the message out about storm <br /> water and water quality issues. <br /> D. The District shall pay for the website host fees,maintenance fees, and all <br /> educational event-planning items that pertain with the MS4. These include but <br /> are not limited to, speakers, caterers,venues, and other event items. <br /> V. EXPIRATION <br /> This agreement between the above parties shall be in full force and effect until July <br /> 30, 2024,with an option to review services of the of the District every two (2)years <br /> or by written notice to all other participants expressing the desire to terminate their <br /> participation in this agreement thirty(30) days prior to the expected date of <br /> termination. <br /> VI. VALIDITY <br /> This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, with each counterpart when taken <br /> together with all other counterparts having the same effect as if the signatures were on <br /> the same instrument. <br /> 4 <br />
