RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE STATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS TO PAY THE <br /> CITY'S PORTION FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF U.S.51 FROM ITS INTERSECTION <br /> WITH PERSHING ROAD (IL 121)NORTH TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE <br /> 72 BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2021-06 <br /> SECTION NO.21-00106-00-TL <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$7,200 of State Motor Fuel Tax funds for the <br /> purpose of resurfacing streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway <br /> Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets,highways; and operations as listed and described as part of the <br /> U.S. 51 from Pershing Road(IL 12 1)North to its intersection with Interstate 72,are eligible for State <br /> Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be designated as Section 21-00106-00-TL. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given above, <br /> submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department,a certified state- <br /> ment showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s)for this period; and <br /> Section 4.
