Perry, Purchasing Supervisor SUBJECT: Resolution Accepting the Bid Price of Bob Ridings Inc. for the Purchase of One (1) 2022 Ford F-250 Pickup Truck with a Lift Gate and Snow Plow. SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding a contract in the amount of $43,165.00 to Bob Ridings Ford Ford,Inc. for one(1)2022 Ford F-250 Super Crew Cab,4-wheel drive pickup truck with a rear lift gate and snow plow. BACKGROUND: The City of Decatur Water Production Division has requested one (1)new vehicle to replace one (1) 2006 Ford F-250 Pickup Truck due to its age and condition. The vehicle being replaced is: One 2006 Ford F-250 Regular Cab, 4-wheel drive pickup with a rear lift gate, snow plow and has 171,782 miles. The replacement vehicle is estimated to be delivered in 90-120 days. DISPOSAL OF REPLACED UNITS: The replaced vehicle will be recycled to replace the vehicle listed below after the new vehicle is put in service. The vehicle being recycled out is a 2006 F-250 regular cab pickup with 171,782 miles in poor condition. This vehicle will be sold or auctioned. PRIOR COUNCIL ACTION: None. OTHER BIDDERS: None. POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections. BUDGET IMPLICATIONS: Funding for the expenditure is available in the FY 2021 Budget. INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Fleet Maintenance wrote bid specifications based Water Production Division requirements.
