City staff recommends approval. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> This is the beginning of the process seeking court-ordered demolition of seventeen(17)unsafe and abandoned structures <br /> throughout the community that are not owned by the city. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None anticipated at this time. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Legal Department staff. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Should the City Council have any questions,they may contact Cordaryl M.Patrick,Director of <br /> Community Development, at 217-424-2727 or email cpatrick@decaturil.gov or Susan Kretsinger at 217-450-2347 <br /> (skrets inger@decaturil.gov). <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> This list of demolitions could be funded by grants potentially.
