Section 6:In addition to the requirements above,the City of Decatur,through its subgrantee <br /> (the Community Investment Corporation of Decatur) will use RLF monies for the following: <br /> a. Improve opportunities for expansion of industrial and/or commercial plants and <br /> facilities. <br /> b. Assist in the creation of long-term employment opportunities in the city. <br /> c. Benefit the long-term unemployed and members of low-income families to obtain <br /> and secure employment. <br /> d. Projects and programs that are compatible with and consistent with the city of <br /> Decatur's approved economic development strategies. <br /> e. Acquisition, development or improvement of land and buildings as a development <br /> facility or public service function, including design, engineering, alteration, <br /> expansion or rehabilitation of the same—including related machinery and <br /> equipment. <br /> f. Projects that provide or advance training,research and technical assistance leading <br /> to reducing unemployment and underemployment and overall workforce <br /> development. <br /> g.
