SIA will be responsible <br /> for the ongoing encouragement of participation for this initiative,will assist with engaging residents of the Johns Hill community, <br /> and will assist in the ongoing efforts to keep Johns Hill beautiful by providing removal of trash, debris, weeds, shrubs, small <br /> derelict structures and grass-cutting services. SIA will provide all labor, tools and equipment for the scope of services. The <br /> contract period shall be from the date of award through December 31,2021. <br /> Block by Block: Block by Block is a community organization that focuses on assisting low income, veterans, or disabled <br /> homeowners in improving homes with repairs, life safety upgrades, and landscaping services. They encourage homeowners to <br /> volunteer and foster volunteerism across generations to teach the responsibilities and benefits of home ownership. Block by <br /> Block will be responsible for educating homeowners about the importance and value of home repairs,landscaping,and life safety <br /> upgrades. They will also provide removal of trash, debris, weeds, shrubs, small derelict structures and grass-cutting services as <br /> part of this intiative. Block by Block will provide all labor, tools and equipment for the scope of services.
