Legal Department <br /> DATE: <br /> MEMO: <br /> TO: Mayor& City Council <br /> FROM: Scot Wrighton, City Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Approving Expenditure for HVAC at Decatur Public Library. <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the resolution be approved. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Library chiller failed last month,and the Mayor issued an emergency proclamation allowing repairs to <br /> be made,even though they had not been authorized by the City Council. The work was completed on June 3, and at the time this <br /> item was finalized,the city had not been invoiced for the full amount of the repairs.
