ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY FROM R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT TO 0-1 OFFICE DISTRICT -271 EAST GRAND AVENUE - WHEREAS, on the 8th day of July 2021, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of DANIEL BLOCK/BLOCH EIGENTUM, LLC to rezone premises legally described as: Lot Six (6)in Block Two (2) of Higgins Addition to the City of Decatur as per Plat recorded in Book 97 at Page 115 and in Book 50 at Page 386 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; EXCEPT commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot Six (6); thence East along the North line of said Lot Six (6) for a distance of Forty (40) feet, to the Northeast corner thereof, thence South along the East line of said Lot Six (6) for a distance of 14.79 feet to a point; thence in a Westerly direction along a line, for a distance of 40.03 feet, more or less, to a point on the West line of said Lot Six (6) and 15.77 feet South from the said Northwest corner thereof; thence North along the said West line of Lot Six (6) for a distance of 15.77 feet to the point of commencement situated in Macon County, Illinois. Permanent Index Number: 04-12-11-301-012 WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be hereby, received,placed on file and approved.
