August 9,2021
Dear City Council Members,
Northeast Community Fund(NCF)is planning to host its 31 annual Farm to Fund event on downtown
Merchant St.September 18,2021. The fundraiser event includes dinner, music and a live auction
between the hours of 6-10pm. All proceeds will benefit the food pantry of NCF. Alcohol purchases have
been made in the years past at cash bars at the event. We are requesting an ordinance authorizing
consumption of alcoholic liquor on the public right-of-way,for the event date. Required insurance,
including the City of Decatur as an additional insured, will be secured and sent to the City Clerk.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission to serve the low-income families in our
community.
Sincerely,
Regan Deering
Board President
Northeast Community Fund
