R 2�I l 5 -7 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH U.S. <br /> DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) <br /> FOR CDBG & HOME FY2021 GRANT FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur desires to continue our partnership with U.S. <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD)to bring funding to our community and; <br /> WHEREAS,the City has provided millions of dollars to low and moderate-income <br /> residents and expanded opportunities for these same residents and; <br /> WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council agree accepting these grants are in the best <br /> interests of the City of Decatur. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR,ILLINOIS; <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor,City Manager, City Clerk or their designees, are hereby <br /> authorized to execute these grant agreements and any documents necessary receive the monies <br /> under these agreements. <br /> Section 2.That the Economic&Community Development Director and/or the Asst. <br /> Director, and the City Clerk be authorized to sign agreements, environmental reviews, <br /> expenditures and other documents necessary to receive funds related to these agreements. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this August 16, 2021. <br /> LIE MOORE WOLF ,MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
