MPS is a certified Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) pre- <br /> qualified by Illinois Department of Transportation. Our team of <br /> experienced, licensed professionals provides a wide variety of services to <br /> meet your business needs with high quality, high value results. MPS has <br /> a fully equipped laboratory accredited by IDOT, AASHTO, CCRL, AMRL <br /> and OMP. <br /> Scope of Services: <br /> As per your request, Millennia will be providing auxiliary materials testing <br /> services to QEI to cover the required miscellaneous laboratory testing, <br /> PCC plant testing, and limited field testing for the Brush College Road <br /> project. Below is an outline of the requested scope of services. <br /> • Obtain soil samples and perform 6 standard proctor tests to generate <br /> curves for QEI field staff to use in determining soil density. <br /> • Perform field and lab testing of Cellular Lightweight Fill. <br /> • Perform Plant QA testing for the PCC plant according to Schedule C <br /> of Check Sheet#25. <br /> • Provide plastic cylinder molds to QEI field staff to make PCC test <br /> cylinders. Cylinder sizes will match what the contractor's QC <br /> personnel use. <br /> • Transport PCC test cylinders back to the Millennia lab, wet cure the <br /> cylinders, perform strength tests on the cylinders, and report the <br /> results to QEI personnel. <br /> • Perform QA nuclear density testing on HMA mixes being placed <br /> (IDOT to perform QA testing at the HMA plant). <br />
