AMENDED CONSTRUCTION PHASE ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> 11/28/21 <br /> The Amended Scope of Services for the City of Decatur Clarifier Conversion Project, East Treatment <br /> Train Construction Phase Services shall consist of the following tasks. <br /> Construction Administration <br /> 1. Pre-Construction Meeting. Prepare agenda, attend and conduct pre-construction meeting <br /> to discuss project scope, communication requirements, procedures, schedule, etc. <br /> 2. Shop Drawing Review. Review submittals as required for construction. Estimated 100 <br /> submittals. <br /> 3. Monthly Pay/Progress Meetings. Attend monthly pay/progress meetings to discuss project <br /> schedule, critical path items and pay applications as necessary. <br /> 4. Review Pay Applications. Consult with City staff for contractor pay applications. It is <br /> anticipated there will be twelve (12) pay applications. <br /> 5. Prepare Construction Administration Forms. Prepare construction phase administration <br /> forms as required for construction (e.g. Field Orders, Substitution Requests, Requests for <br /> Interpretation, Change Orders, etc.). <br /> 6. Special Discipline Site Visits. Review and respond to contractor-initiated requests for <br /> structural, electrical, or mechanical site visits. <br /> 7. Prepare Punch List. Upon substantial completion, conduct a site visit to develop a punch <br /> list of outstanding items to be completed by the Contractor in order for the construction <br /> contract to be finalized. <br /> 8. Startup Services. After the construction is substantially complete and ready to be brought <br /> online and made operational, visit the project site to assist the City in the startup and <br /> operation of the new improvements. <br /> 9. Closeout Contract Documents.. Prepare the engineer-initiated closeout contract <br /> documents for construction phase closeout. <br /> 10. Record Drawings. Using Contractor initiated record drawings, develop electronic and hard <br /> copy record drawings. <br /> 1 <br />
