Questions from Attendees and Site Walk Around - The meeting was opened up <br /> for questions from the attendees followed by a site walk around to the proposed <br /> project locations. The following is a summary of the questions asked by the <br /> attendees at the meeting and during the walkthrough, and the responses. <br /> ' 1. Question: Are there specific COVID protocols that are required at the WTP? <br /> Response: Follow City protocols, currently masks are required inside at all times <br /> and outside when 6-feet of separation cannot be maintained. <br /> 2. Question: What type of anodized finish is required for the aluminum handrail? <br /> Response: The finish for the Aluminum Railing System is called out in Section <br /> 05520 — Handrails and Railings, Paragraph 2.02 M on page 05520-4. <br /> ' 3. Question: Does the allowance count for the 10% MBE goal? <br /> Response: Yes, the MBE goal percentages are based on the total base bid amount <br /> which includes the allowance. <br /> 4. Question: Can the existing hatches be used to lower equipment and materials into <br /> the basement area? <br /> Response: Yes, the existing hatches can be used by the contractor. The one on the <br /> east end is more accessible, it can be enlarged as needed (3' x 3' hatch <br /> currently), modifications to be coordinated with City and CMT. <br /> 5. Question: Can the contractors and their subcontractors make additional site visits? <br /> Response: Yes, contact Chaundra Smith a csmith@decaturil.gov or 217.424.2833. <br /> 6. Question: Is there a fixture schedule for the proposed lighting fixtures? <br /> ' Response: The Lighting & Pole Schedule referenced in Section 16510 — Luminaires <br /> is not included for this project; this will be corrected in Addendum No. 1. <br /> ' If any attendee has exceptions to these minutes, please contact Amanda J.
