ORDINANCE NO. 2021 -6 L BUDGET RECONCILIATION ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES FOR CERTAIN FUNDS OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2021 WHEREAS,on December 7,2020,City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance 2020-164 for the purpose of defraying the expenses of several departments and funds Of the City of Decatur for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021, as amended by Ordinance 2021-43 to,distribute Coronavirus relief funds. WHEREAS, it is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for operational expenditures for the City to effect provision of services to its citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City Council adopted Ordinance 2020-164, and as previously amended by Ordinance 2021-43. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year ending December 31, 2021 and set apart within the following designated funds for expenditures as follows: Fund $Amount Community Grants (#16) 50,000 Olde Towne TIF Fund(#19) 35,000 Southeast Plaza TIF (#20) 30,000 DUI Fines and Fees (#26) 26,000 Pines Shopping Center TIF (#28) 5,000 Building Fund(#34) 210,000 Library Fund(#35) 200,000 Foreign Fire Insurance Fund(#37) 109000 Local Streets and Roads (#42) 50,000 Capital Projects(#45) 301,000 Debt(#50) 2,500 Equipment Replacement(#61) 3,000,000 Risk(#64) 750,000 Benefit(#65) 650,000 Recycling Fund(#88) 3,000 Total 5,322,500 SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full-force and effect after its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
