Section Three Continued <br /> Purpose I Please state the purpose of the pro osed rezoning. <br /> The rezoning would allow Woodford Homes to build a one story 20 unit building for persons who <br /> have mental health and/or developmental disabilities. <br /> SECTION FOUR: JUSTIFICATION <br /> The petitioner submils to the City Plan Commission and City Council the follotvin facts(addit ional pages may be attached): <br /> We would like to rezone this property from M1 to R6 Multiple Dwelling to serve persons with mental <br /> health and/or developmental disabilities. This rezoning would allow us to construct a 20-unit <br /> development comprised of a one-story building and twenty one-bedroom units. The units will be <br /> approximately 525 square feet. Additionally there will be communal areas for group activities and <br /> support spaces for staff. <br /> There has been no activity on this property in the past decade. The prosed development rezoning <br /> would be compatible with the adjacent properties. The property immediately west across Beth <br /> Boulevard is zoned R6 Multiple Dwelling and there is an apartment complex on that site. <br /> The property immediately north is zoned PMR-1 (Park Mobile Home Residence) and there are <br /> several single family mobile homes next to the property line. Immediately north of the PMR-1 zoning <br /> is zoned R6 Multiple Dwelling. At 3597 North Charles Street, Woodford Homes owns a facility <br /> SECTION FIVE: CERTIFICATION <br /> To be placed on the agenda of the regular meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 3:00 <br /> PM in the City Council Chambers, petition must be received on the first Thursday of the <br /> preceding month. Failure of the petitioner or the petitioner's representative to attend the Plan <br /> Commission hearing may result in items being tabled.
