Marietta St. with Steve's Trucking <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the <br /> attached resolution authorizing execution of agreement for demolition of said <br /> dwelling. <br /> BACKGROUND: The building at 139 E. Marietta suffered from significant fire <br /> damage that resulted in the closing of Marietta St. Due to the severity of the <br /> damage, and the cooperation of the owner, bids were taken to have the building <br /> immediately demolished. Three bids were received with Steve's Trucking <br /> providing the lowest bid ($58,000).
